Cleaning of facades and surfaces made of unpolished granite, on which there are residues of graffiti and paint after the use of paint removers. Due to the inability of the remover to penetrate the pores of the granite, leaving the familiar residues and traces of paint in the painted areas. It is not recommended to use the product on polished granite surfaces as it would damage the shine of the polished surface. When applying to any surfaces, it is advisable to pre-test.

Application

DESCA-P can be applied neat as supplied or diluted in varying proportions with water, depending on the contamination or residue on the surface to be applied. Always apply with a brush or roller and always from bottom to top. After application, allow to work for 30 sec. to 18 min., depending on the roughness of the substrate and the level of contamination. (See precautions for surfaces to be treated). Rinse then with pressurized water ( minimum 40 bar pressure), rinsing again from bottom to top.

Actions in case of an Incident

A) In case of inhalation of the vapour:

Lay the patient on the side of the product. Allow him to rest and seek medical attention. This type of accident does not occur often when working outdoors. In case you are working indoors with poor ventilation, it is necessary to use suitable masks.

B) Contact with skin or work clothing:

Remove clothes immediately and wash thoroughly with water. The areas where the product has come into contact with the skin should be washed thoroughly with water and treated with calcium gluconate gel from 25% by gently massaging the affected area. Seek medical attention and inform of the possibility of florohydrate burns. In the presence of severe pain, may be relieved with an injection of calcium gluconate, consulting a doctor beforehand.

C) In contact with eyes or mucous membranes:

Wash thoroughly with water. On contact with the eyes, keep the lashes well open to ensure that the water has washed the whole eye. Seek medical attention, preferably an eye doctor.

D) In case of ingestion:

Drink immediately a large amount of cold water and then take 500 mg calcium gluconate tablets (4-6 chewable tablets). Seek medical attention.

• Do not apply when the temperature drops below +5⁰C or if freezing is expected in the next 24 h
• Do not apply to frozen or cracked surfaces
• Do not wet the wall too much when the temperature is low, always above +5⁰С
• Do not apply to plaster, paint or lime
• Allow to dry for at least 7-14 days (depending on temperature and relative humidity) before painting or before filling with water in the case of tanks and pools
• TECMADRY FLEX 2C allows other flexible cementitious products to be applied after it on the same basis or on those recommended for non-absorbent surfaces, but it is necessary to make a preliminary test.

Precautions

First of all, it should be noted that the product DESCA-P attacks surfaces made of limestone, glass, polished marble, tiles, etc., it is also necessary to make a preliminary test when applied on such surfaces. This type of surface contains calcium and it is typical for bubbles to form on the surface when applied DESCA-P. When applying, it is necessary to cover all windows and window frames in the vicinity of the treated area.

Due to the high acidity of the product, any contact with the skin should be avoided. The wearing of goggles, gloves and masks as well as boots and acid-resistant clothing is necessary. Do not swallow. Keep away from children.

Cost Norm

Depending on the type of surface and the level of contamination, the cost can vary. We suggest an average consumption of about 4-6 m2/l.

DESCA-P is supplied in 30 and 60 litre. plastic containers, not suitable for re-use. DESCA -P should be stored in tightly closed containers, away from alkaline products.
