How to use a cleaner to remove cement residues and efflorescent salts?

Use DESCA -2F always diluted with water because of its high concentration. When cleaning, surfaces should be well moistened with DESCA -2F diluted with water, let it sit for a few minutes. After finishing the procedure you need to rinse thoroughly with water. Sometimes you may need to scrub the surface with an acid resistant brush.

The correct dilution of the product depends on the material to be coated, degree of contamination, etc. We offer you some examples of use:

Cleaning efflorescence from bricks:

1. Moisten the base with water
2. Spray the substrate with a 1:4 solution (1 part DESCA -2F, 4 parts water)
3. Rub the bricks with a nylon brush
4. Rinse with water at maximum pressure

Cleaning of plaster and concrete residues:

• For residues on tiles, terraces, etc. use 1:3 ; 1:5 diluted with water
• Concrete mixers, machines and mold use : pure or diluted 1:3 with water

Granite and artificial stone cleaning:

1. Mix DESCA -2F with 1:3 to 1:10 proportions of water, depending on the porosity of the surface. The more porous the surface, the greater the dilution.
2. Spray the surface with the solution
3. Scrub with a brush
4. Rinse with water under pressure

Cleaning of polished stone surfaces:

For cleaning artificial or natural marble surfaces, ceramic tiles, etc, the solution is to dilute as a minimum 1:10 ; 1:12 with water. For such uses, you need to do a test on a small barely visible part so that you can check which solution would be most suitable without damaging the surface.
