Depending on the type and thermal conductivity of the materials, it is possible to achieve a temperature difference between the two surfaces of up to 3⁰С. The coating is breathable and allows water vapour to pass through it. Thanks to its elastic abilities, it can cover small cracks without losing continuity and waterproofness. It can be repainted with acrylic or marsh paint.

The surface must be dry, free of grease, oil, dust, dirt and any other kind of loose particles. The lime solution must be removed mechanically. The surface must have a certain roughness and porosity in order to obtain good adhesion to the product. When applying over other paints, remove flaking layers and pieces. 

Mix well before laying. Add 10-15% of water to the first coat when applying to slightly porous and smoothed surfaces. After 4-6 h, depending on air temperature, you can lay the next coat - undiluted. When laying on metals, it is advisable to first lay TECMA PAINT OX as a primer.

Depending on the magnitude of the thermal shocks, the consumption rate should be about 0.5-1 kg/m² applied in several layers. It is necessary to apply 2-3 coats to achieve the required coating thickness.

To protect edges of slabs, pillars, cold corners and all those parts that are likely to suffer thermal shock.

• Do not apply at temperatures below +10⁰C, or relative humidity above 85%
• Do not apply outdoors when it is expected to rain before the product has set

TECMA BREAK THERMIC is supplied in metal containers of 10 and 20 kg. The product should be stored in cool rooms, protected from freezing or high temperatures. In its original unopened containers, the product can be stored for 1 year at temperatures of +10⁰C to +30⁰С.
