How to lay liquid transparent waterproofing

Surfaces must be solid with no separated materials and be dry and free of grease, oil, dust and other contaminants. Surfaces that are too smooth must be mechanically roughened to ensure good adhesion of the product.

Stir TECMA ECO-TR before you put it down. Once the substrate has been prepared, apply the first coat of product over the entire surface diluted with 10-15% water. You can prime with our SATECMACONS AAJ, which will make an excellent bond with the substrate, we recommend laying it especially in places where the substrate is crumbling and has no integrity. After 8 h, apply the next coat without thinning it. When applying each subsequent coat, observe the drying time of the previous one. At sub-wall joints, the product should be lifted 25 cm vertically as well as horizontally.

To ensure flawless waterproofing, apply 1.5 kg/m² of the product in several perpendicular layers.

TECMA ECO-TR Liquid clear waterproofing is used for unique areas to preserve the original color of the material to which it is applied: joints between shingles and chimneys, ridges, joints on roof deck, joints between walls, shingled roofs, asbestos-cement roofs, cracked areas, spot restoration of acrylic waterproofing, etc. Its application does not change the color of the material and is built into the surface you want to protect.

It is not applicable to surfaces that may come into constant contact with water or as a waterproofing over which other flooring will be laid or on which there will be movement.

Its use is not recommended in the following conditions:

• If rain is expected before the product is completely dry
• If there is a likelihood of freezing in the next 12 h after application of the product
• When the temperature is below +7⁰С

• When the relative humidity is below 80%

When weather conditions are critical and there is no opportunity to wait:

• Use the hours of the day when the temperature is higher
• Apply thinner layers
• Increase recoat time to 24 or 48 h between coats

TECMA ECO-TR is supplied in 5, 10 and 20 kg plastic containers. The product should be stored in a frost-proof place in a vacuum-sealed container, so its shelf life is 1 year.
