HIDROTECMA is a pure, colorless, alkaline, liquid product with a high density due to the size of the molecules of which it is composed. These molecules, after crystallization, allow the treated surface to build a moisture barrier by injection creating crystals in the pores of the substrate and protecting against rising moisture.

•  For crystallization and improved surface strength HIDROTECMA can be applied with a roller, hand sprayer or low pressure spray gun. 24 h prior to application it is important to thoroughly wet the surface to be treated. Before applying the product, it is advisable to protect all those elements made of glass, ceramics, wood, flooring, etc., which are close to the surface to be treated. The consumption rate of HIDROTECMA depends on the porosity of the substrate. We can give an approximate consumption rate of         1 - 1,5 kg/m².

• When laying HIDROTECMA by injecting as a barrier against rising damp, it is important to make sure that the injection you are laying enters almost the entire thickness of the vertical wall by making a series of holes in the way described in the picture below. The holes should form an angle of at least 15-20^о with the vertical surface, and the diameter should be about 1-2 cm across 10-15 cm laid zig-zag apart.

The depth of the holes made should be at least 2/3 of the wall. Place one injection in each hole and inject the product with at least 5-6 bar pressure.
The consumption rate of the product will vary depending on the wall thickness, but as a guide we would give about 1-1.5 kg per hole.
When applied to brick, there may be whitish stains that disappear after 2 or 3 months.

The product irritates the eyes, skin and mucous membranes. Use protective clothing when applying the product. In case of contact with eyes, rinse thoroughly with water for 15 min. On contact with skin, wash thoroughly with soap and water. HIDROTECMA is an alkaline product, so you need to protect all surfaces made of glass, wood, etc that are close to the application area.

• Crystallisation and surface strength of walls, tanks, all kinds of concrete structures, stone facades, etc.
• Waterproofing barrier in vertical walls against rising damp

HIDROTECMA is supplied in plastic containers of 10 and 30 kg, not suitable for reuse.
