How to optimally use PROQUICK leak stopping cement mortar

1. The crack or hole must be properly prepared. This means that you need to create an opening about 2 cm deep and thick.
2. Make the hole round or square, but never "V"-shaped.
3. Clean the surface of soil and other debris.
4. The product is powdery and all you have to do is add water to it and mash it until its consistency becomes like a mash tun, after which it can be applied to the slit by hand.
5. Mix as much PROQUICK as much as you need for the next 1-2 min.
6. Apply PROQUICK effortlessly, it inflates itself and adheres to the base
7. PROQUICK must be pressed into the hole to obtain the required results.
8. Once applied, keep it moist for at least 60 min. PROQUICK can be used above and below water level in: basements, tunnels, sewers, tanks, around pipelines, cable ducts, etc., or anywhere water is not welcome.

! Too cold or too hot weather may prolong the settling period of PROQUICK. The product works in all conditions, you just need to give it more attention and time to set and prepare the mixture. It is recommended to use warm water when mixing PROQUICK when the air temperature is low. Do not apply when the temperature is close to 0⁰С.

As a solution for plugging leaks:

1. Mix PROQUICK with a minimum of 4:1 water (approximately)
2. Knead the mixture and make it into a pyramid shape by holding it in your hand until it starts to harden.
3. Carefully lay the product against the hole with the leak.
4. Press and hold for about 45 sec. To make sure the material stays in place, do not move the hand holding it.
5. Once it has cured, use a putty knife to remove the excess of PROQUICK.

The main cause of water penetration into the basement is the connection between the wall and the floor.

Here's how to avoid such a problem:

1. Make a full-length cut, but don't make it "V" shaped
